Meet Freya
Freya, born in April 2023 in beautiful Kalispell, Montana, is
the heart of Tahoma Goldendoodles. Her parents, Maggie
Joe, a loving F1 Goldendoodle, and Max, a spirited
Miniature Poodle, passed down their best traits to her.
Fully grown, Freya weighs 25 pounds and has a gorgeous
wavy Apricot coat that reflects her Poodle heritage.
Sociable and sweet, Freya adores her cat and dog siblings,
making her a wonderful companion to other animals. She’s
also an adventurous traveler, whether navigating airports
or enjoying long road trips. Freya loves her trips to the
groomer, where her personality truly shines.
Her playful yet gentle nature makes her the perfect
foundation for our family-focused Mini Goldendoodles.
We’re excited to share the joy Freya brings to our lives with
you!

More Info:
Freya was such a wonderful and loving mama. She nurtured her first litter—
four boys and one girl—with incredible care, and they all grew into healthy
puppies with fantastic temperaments. We are so proud of her and grateful for
the joy she brought to those little ones and their forever families.
To ensure Freya’s well-being, she is taking a well-deserved break, and we
anticipate her next litter of multi-generational Goldendoodles in the spring of
2026. Our goal is to responsibly breed Mini Goldendoodles with excellent
health and temperaments, and we look forward to selecting another
exceptional stud to complement Freya’s wonderful qualities.
If you are interested in joining the waitlist for our next litter, please complete
the Puppy Application above or reach out to me via text or email. We are
dedicated to breeding responsibly, prioritizing the health and happiness of
both our puppies and their future families.

What is an F1bb Goldendoodle?
- An F1bb Goldendoodle is 87.5% Poodle and 12.5% Golden Retriever, resulting from breeding an F1b Goldendoodle
(Freya) with a Purebred Poodle (Dash).
Are F1bb Goldendoodles hypoallergenic?
- No, but they are highly allergy-friendly due to their high Poodle genetics. No dog is 100% hypoallergenic.
What size do F1bb Goldendoodles typically grow to?
- Due to the parents size, we expect these puppies to weight around 25lbs. When available, please click on the Embark DNA
tests for better size predictions for each puppy. (update: DNA results are back and size ranges from 28lbs- 40lbs!)
What is their temperament like?
- Socialization is a key factor in raising litters at Tahoma Goldendoodles. We handle them frequently and from day 3
have incorporated ENS and ESI training. These puppies will be friendly, intelligent, and family-oriented in nature, and
are great for homes with children or other pets.
What kind of coat do F1bb Goldendoodles have?
- F1bb Goldendoodles typically have curly, wavy, or straight coats, with curly being the most common due to their
higher Poodle genetics. Curly coats are low-shedding but need regular grooming, wavy coats are a balanced mix and
easier to maintain, and straight coats, though less common, may shed more. Every puppy undergoes an Embark
DNA panel, which provides detailed insights into coat type, shedding level, color, and facial furnishings, so you’ll know
exactly what to expect for grooming and care.
Do your puppies come with a health guarantee?
- While we don’t offer a formal health guarantee, we prioritize transparency and the health of our puppies. Both parents
have thorough health records available for review, and every puppy undergoes a full Embark DNA panel to test for
genetic health conditions. You’ll receive full access to these records so you can feel confident about your puppy’s
health and lineage. We’re happy to answer any questions and provide ongoing support to ensure you’re fully
informed.
What vaccinations and deworming have the puppies had?
- Dewormer is started at 2 weeks of age. Depending on when puppy goes home, there may be a few doses left and
instructions will be provided. We have their 6 week vet check scheduled and at that time they will be given all the
recommended vaccinations for their age.
At what age can I take my puppy home?
- The typical age is 8-10 weeks when puppies are ready to go home.
Do you provide a starter kit with each puppy?
- Yes! Each puppy will have a collar, a small blanket with their littermates & momma’s scent, vaccination records and
CKC paperwork for registering your new family member.
What are their grooming requirements?
- F1bb Goldendoodles have low-shedding coats, but they do need regular upkeep to stay mat-free and comfy.
Brushing a few times a week helps, but many owners choose to keep their coat cut shorter to make grooming easier.
A professional groomer is recommended every 6-8 weeks, with an average cost of $80 (or more!!) per session.
Are F1bb Goldendoodles good for first-time dog owners?
- Yes! Mini Goldendoodles are an excellent choice for first-time dog owners. Their friendly and intelligent nature makes
them easy to train, while their adaptable personality allows them to fit into a variety of home environments, from
apartments to larger homes with yards. However, they do require regular grooming and moderate daily exercise. With
some commitment to their care needs, they make loving, loyal companions and are a joy for first-time owners to raise.
How do I reserve a puppy?
- Please fill out the puppy application (link is on the Meet the Litter page). Once approved and deposit made, your
puppy will be on reserve. As personalities develop, we will organize a meet and greet for final puppy selection
process that will commence with the first deposit received and go down the list. Should you not connect and decide
on a puppy in this litter, your deposit will be refunded.
What is the price of your puppies?
- Litter prices can range but start at $2,500. There is a $500 refundable deposit at time of accepted application to place
a puppy on reserve. Our litters are handled, and cared for in our home and treated like our own until they are placed
with their permanent families. They are CKC registered, ESN & ESI training from day 3-16, fully vaccinated and vet
checked as well as a full Embark DNA testing (test for genetic health conditions relevant to the breed & 270+ variants
associated with disease, coat & body traits, adult size, coat color, length, shedding, etc.)
Do you offer delivery or shipping?
- Yes, at cost we will consider delivering the puppy to you. SeaTac (SEA) is the nearest airport and we can always
arrange to meet you at the airport or fly with puppy to your destination. Fees will apply.
Can I visit before adopting?
- Yes, of course! Once an application has been submitted and reviewed, we are happy to set up a time for you to meet
the puppies! After deposit has been made, regular updates will be sent leading up to puppy selection day. We want
you to be a part of the process as much as you would like to be!
Do you have a copy of the Puppy Contract I can review?
- Yes, we want to have clear, concise communication for all our future doodle owners. You can review the contract by
